Local Impact across Shepparton, Geelong and Albury
Here's a snapshot of how our teams have made an impact across our local communities.

Life's Little Treasures Foundation

Team Furphy on the Move! ♂️

On Friday 17th October, our amazing team hit the Shepparton Lake to support the Life’s Little

Treasures Foundation – Walk for Prems Mighty Trek Challenge

It was a beautiful day, and our crew kicked things off at 9am, taking turns in rotating shifts to smash the 50km goal — and we didn’t stop there… we made it to over 51km!

We’re proud to support this incredible cause, helping raise awareness and funds for premature and sick babies and their families. To top it off, the team was presented with a medal in recognition of their amazing efforts!

A big shoutout to everyone who joined in — even Adam got his steps in!

Geelong Community Foundation-Furphy Geelong Fund

The idea of establishing a Community Foundation in Geelong was first considered in 1997 through United Way Geelong (now Give Where You Live). The United Way Board felt that there could be support in Geelong to develop a significant fund with a permanent capital base, which if invested well, would grow substantially.

The Empowerment Challenge

Supporting younger mums who had their first child at 26 or younger, who are pregnant or parenting.

A safe place to feel supported, respected and connected to get the help you need, for as long as you need it.

We know younger parents can face huge pressure: isolation, mental health challenges, family violence, financial stress, and barriers to education or stable support systems. We’re building protective supports through mentoring, wellbeing support, access to services, and community connection — because every younger mum deserves to feel safe, strong, and supported.
